https vs. http

https vs. http I'm having problem determining why sometimes when I access the site it is over a secure https connection and other times it is not (i.e use http). I've accepted the ceritificate from my PC so I would expect to enter this site via https once I login in. I should not have to actually type "https//....." in the address. I know https has some over head but it would seem to me that the default would be over https. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks again, Byron Byron Williams writes: > I'm having problem determining why sometimes when I access > the site it is over a secure https connection and other > times it is not (i.e use http). You need to bookmark the https://www.bivio.com link. There's also a little blue lock on the lower left on every page. bivio doesn't require https except when you enter secure info such as social security and credit card numbers. Rob |
