Restricting e-mail posting.
We have some members that are clogging up our mail center
with unrelated messages. Is there a way I can restrict them
from posting yet they can recieve mail through Bivio re Club
issues. Is there a gag button in Bivio that I have not
found?

If you can't get your club members to behave nicely, take them
offline. Just click on their name in the Roster, and then click the
"take offline" button. This will eliminate their access to the club,
and won't allow them to send emails unless you have "Allow Mail from
Anybody" set -- which isn't the default

Alternatively, you might set up a mail filter in your mail program, if
you know how to do it.

We have a feature with ActivePartnership(tm) that allows you to
restrict all kinds of access including email posts. I'm not
recommending you sign up for ActivePartnership, just mentioning it
here. :-)

Cheers,
Rob
Thanks Rob, I know I can take them off line but in that case they would not
be able to receive mail from me re club business. Perhaps at next meeting I
can drill in some discipline.
