Exporting/Importing CAO files
Ok, Gang! I must have had too much egg nog over the
holidays! I am having a terrible time trying to export my
CAO files to our new bivio account! Could someone please
point me in the right direction? I'm tired of running
around in circles!
Thanks.
Bob
You need to write support on this one, Robert. Gene Rooks

Gene, thanks for the quick reply! I saw your post regarding
the same question but I didn't see any response from anyone.
Do all users of CAO need to contact bivio support to
successfully export/import existing CAO data?
As with all issues, thanks for ALWAYS being so supportive to
those seeking help!
Best wishes,
Bob
Robert, I believe it would be better for you to get the instructions from
support. Gene
Thanks, Gene! As you suggest, I will contact bivio support.

Importing your ICLUBcentral Online Club Accounting is a four
step
process. It's very easy, however.

The first step is export your accounting into an ICF file.
You must
first login to OCA, and go to the Accounting section and
then Tools.
Save the ICF file to your local disk where you can find it
again.

For the next step, you need to visit this link on
ICLUBcentral's site:

http://www.iclub.com/products/ca3.asp

Select the 'Download a free demo copy' link on the page
below to
install CA 3 on your computer. You will then download and
install
the ICLUBcentral CA 3 Demo Application. This is easier than
it
sounds. Just follow the instructions.

The third step involves importing the ICF file you
downloaded in the
first step. You run the ICLUBcentral CA 3 Demo and import
your
accounting. This is under the Accounting > Tools tab.

Once you've imported the ICF file, you can now proceed with
the fourth
step which is importing your accounting into bivio. If
you've already
registered with bivio, please visit this link:

https://www.bivio.com/my-club-site/accounting/import
We have improved our online instructions for each type of import.
When you visit the import page, it now asks which version of Club
Accounting (going back to EasyWare 1.04) you are using, and then gives
you explicit instructions for that version.

Please let us know if the import instructions are an improvement.
As longtime bivio users know, we integrate most of your feedback
quickly in order to make bivio better for everybody.

Happy New Year,
Rob
