In this day and age their is free checking everywhere.
We did once upon a time send the member checks
to TD Waterhouse (now TD Ameritrade). Three times
we came up with a problem.

When you sent your checks to TD Waterhouse they only listed
the amounts not the name. If the check was NSF good luck on
finding out who it belongs to. If you sent 25 checks and the
broker said they only received 24 good luck on
resolving the missing check.

When we came up with a third problem this was enough
grief. We opened a bank checking account like we should
have done in the first place.
