club_cafe: When's it do?

That has been my question!!  I paid it in December.  Bivio acknowledged it
was paid and that I was good until Jan 2008.  If I was not active in Club
Cafe,  I would not know this was happening!!  That is one of the things that
is so irritating about this change!!
My understanding, though I'm sure Rob will correct me if I'm wrong, is that current $69 subscriptions will remain in force until the end of their term. So if your current $69 subscription expires in Jan 2008, you won't pay the $99 rate until then. Of course, you won't have access to AccountSync until then either. Alternatively, you can pay $30 now and upgrade your subscription.

Greetings bivio users!

bivio and bivions survived the Great Blizzard of '07. Despite the
state of emergency -- Gawd! The mall is closed! -- bivio.com was
running smoothly, and our support team was answering questions.

Yesterday, most of us spent the day playing. Jenn is on vacation.
The rest of us dug out our driveways. I even got juvenile (did I ever
grow up?), and I slipped and slid down the driveway in my Subaru
Outback clearing the snow. My kids were in the trunk to add extra
weight, and they had a grand time. I was the greatest dad ever until
I asked them to help clean up the snow piles I knocked down that my
wonderful wife had so neatly stacked up. It's tough being a dad!
Kids see you as an angel one minute and a devil the next.

Even though I70 was shutdown to Kansas and no planes were flying in
our out of Denver International Airport, yesterday, we finally were
able to send out the biggest announcement in our history. It was
suppose to go out Monday, but it didn't as you may have noticed. :-)

It's that time of year when I like to give the rest of the team a
break. It's my job as CEO and Supreme Mugwump to let people take a
break every now and then, and if you email support, it'll be me who
answers your question. Please be kind, and wait till January. ;-)

Thanks to our new strategic alliance with BetterInvesting, phones will
be covered better than they are normally this time of year, and in a
few weeks, I'm sure BetterInvesting's fantastic Member Services
Representatives be up to speed on the easier bivio questions. Please
be patient with them. We want this transition to go smoothly so our
training and transition plan is being executed gradually.

We are a small company, and we make mistakes. This message is not put
out by our public relations team. It's written by me in my email
client, just like you write emails. That's the nature of working with
a small company: you get the leading edge on everything, including
mistakes, unfortunately. The price upgrade announcement was botched,
but that doesn't mean we are screwing up everything else.

Yes! Your subcriptions are valid. Indeed, we will even refund
customer's pro-rated subscriptions even though we have no legal
obligation to do so. It's the right thing to do, and as far as I
know, there haven't been any refunds as a result of our botched PR.

We cannot support you on the Club Cafe. Our privacy policy does not
allow it. In order to support you, we have to look at your account
and write about those details. That can't happen in a public forum
like this. Note: we have *never* exposed or otherwise negligently
handled your personal data. Unlike some companies which ship around
your data in cardboard boxes via UPS, not one byte has been lost or
exposed by bivio in our seven years of operation.

It's the time of the year to be jolly and spend some time with your
families. Wait till January 31st to think about your taxes for 2006.
Your 1099s will arrive, and there might even be corrected 1099s from
your brokers, like there were last year.

January is a time for reflection for investors. You have a full year
behind you. Look at your AIRR. Use our "what if" Performance
Benchmark report to see how your club performed in 2006. Above all,
the best investing decisions are made when you are relaxed. Tis the
season to be merry!

Thank you for using bivio, and we wish you and your friends, families,
and club members many happy returns in 2007 and beyond!

Cheers,
Rob Nagler
