Some of you are not members of NAIC and would not know who
Mark Robertson is. He was the senior managing editor for
Better-Investing Magazine for several years, a strong
advocate for the NAIC methodology, which encompassed the
works of Benjamin Graham, who in turn, influenced some of
our greatest investors, like Warren Buffett.

Anyhoo, Mark has spent years working on an approach that
would simplify finding good quality stocks, and helping to
better manage a portfolio. It doesn't replace all the NAIC
tools, nor does it alleviate the need for good quality club
accounting, but it seems to me, after doing my own due
diligence, that his approach just might help to
substantially improve the quality and return of our club
portfolio (not to mention my own!).

Mark left NAIC and started his own website called Manifest
Investing (www.manifestinvesting.com). If you haven't seen
it, he offers a free 30 day trial. I recommend that you
sign up, enter your portfolio (stocks or mutuals) into the
Dashboard section and see what pops up! Then check out the
back "Issues" if his monthly educational newsletter.
