We highly recommend that investment clubs do not invest in other
partnerships because of the extra accounting required, and it also
causes a delay for the members to receive their individual K-1.

What Paul implied, but didn't say in the above sentence is that many publicly traded partnerships don't send out their K-1s until mid-March. Some file for an extension and don't issue them until mid-summer. You can't complete your club's K-1s until you get this one.
