Our club just joined with bivio this past January. We were
an already established club with equal partners, so we all
have the same number of units. A new member recently joined
and wanted to be a full member. On the day she gave me her
check, I figured out the units and the amount she had to pay
the club. It took me a few days to deposit her check, and
in the interim the market rose. She now has fewer shares
than the rest of us, and therefore, the value of her portion
is a few dollars less than the rest of us. Can we equalize
her shares? I realize that if the market had gone down, she
would have had more units What do other clubs do in like
circumstances? I'm sure we are not the first club to
experience this.
