Our club was having issues with attendance in 2003. We had always met every month on the third Thursday. For 2004 we decided to meet every other month. The results have not been positive, and we are looking at resuming monthly meetings. Our club is facing relocation issues that make is tougher for some members to attend.  The same excuses that members used to not attend a monthly meeting do not go away with moving to less frequent meetings. The biggest drawback I see in our 2004 format is that if a few members miss a meeting, you now face a four month period between making important decisions (or allow fewer members to make decisions in lieu).

Meeting frequency should have no impact on record keeping.

Hello Bivio Club Members;

My club has come to a crossroad, and we are looking for
feedback on how often other clubs meet?  Currently,  we meet
monthly,  however,  life appears presented us all with some
challenges.

Feedback is requested for the following questions:

1)  How often does your club meet?
2)  How does that impact your bookkeeping
3)  What are some of the positives of meeting less often,
and drawbacks.
