Fully withdrawn members returning to club
How do I enter this when a member had previously withdrawn
all his funds fully, and then later has decided to rejoin
the club? Thanks!

If the returning member withdrew prior to 2004, the best way to do
this is to enter the returning member as a new member of the club by
selecting the 'add member(s)' icon on the Administration / Roster
page.

https://www.bivio.com/my-club-site/admin/roster

If the member withdrew during 2004, please email support@bivio.com and
we'll update the member's status to allow them to begin contributing
to the club again.

Here's how we do it.... we don't allow it....
If they fully withdraw - they're out for good.
If they partially withdraw - they continue to make their
monthly (required) contributions.
Makes 'em think before they fully withdraw. This ain't no
checking/savings account you know.
Seems to work so far.

Wow Larry. God forbid someone in your club has a medical
issue like cancer that makes them withdraw for a year. I
guess I could see how you never want deadbeats like that
coming back to your club. After all they might then just
turn around and die. Your process seems a little harsh, no?

We insist that fully withrawn members stay that way for at
least a year...thereafter they can return the same way new
members are elected. (which, by the way, works like this:
1. Attend at least one quarterly meeting as guest of a
member
2 if interested, get a member to sponsor, and submit a
request to join, together with a brief resume
3. This information is circulated to the membership, and if
there are no objections filed with the secretary within a
month of the information having been sent around, the
applicant is admitted, or placed on the waiting list..
We have a size limit (45 members), so admission is not
 guaranteed.
If you're willing to let them re-join your club, then bring
them in as a new member.
