Schwab Account Sync
Schwab used to permit login using the club's Schwab account
number. Now they require an individual's SSN.

How secure is the information regarding the Schwab login
information that is stored at bivio?

How can I see this information?

How can I prevent others from seeing it?

Thanks,

I suspect you can change this. Try calling Schwab customer support.
You probably can get them to assign a special login number that isn't
an SSN. This is standard practice with insurance companies that use
your SSN (by default) for your ID card.

All critical data such as EINs, SSNs, account numbers, passwords, and
credit card numbers are stored in our database in an encrypted format.
The key to decrypt these data is know by only three persons. Our
servers must be started by one of these individuals who must enter
this key manually. All communication with our servers that contains
sensitive information occurs over encrypted channels.

You can't see passwords. Our Web servers will never display a known
working password to any user or even our customer support people.
Only individuals who have direct access to our database can see this
information, and only when they present the key.

Only officers can visit pages with sensitive pages such as SSNs and
account numbers. The club must supply SSNs to the IRS, but you don't
have to provide them to our servers.
