club_cafe: Resetting Unit Values
I suspect there is something else wrong here. If you're club has not made any investments yet, and has no income or expense, your unit value will not change. The number of units owned by each member will vary based on the dollar contribution each has made.

If you haven't made any investments and haven't had any income or expense AND you still want to start with all members equal, all you have to do is have all members contribute the same amount of money. Since your unit value will still be $10 (or whatever your starting value was), everyone will now be equal. As Alessandro has already replied, it won't be necessary, or desirable, to maintain equal shares as you go forward.

Does anyone know how to reset the unit value of a club?  We
are just starting up and posting contributions (no
investments as of yet) and payments among members have not
been consistent and the unit values are all over the place.
We would like to start fresh with all members equal.
I am the recording financial secretary of my club and I am sort of having the same problem. How do set the unit value? Each unit's value is $35 and it is caculating around 3.5 for each unit, which it looks like it sees each unit as $10 per unit. Also its not totaling the units.

Dear Barbra,

Once you have your club set up, your unit value is recalculated automatically each day based on the value of your club assets and the number of units in your club.

Where are you getting the value of $35 per unit?

You might want to email us in support@bivio.com so we can look at the specifics of your account and discuss them with you in private.
