club_cafe: Final Income Tax Return - Termination of Club
If your club terminated on or before 12/31/02, you can file your 1065 and mark it final. If your club terminated in 2003, you will have to file an additional "short year" return for the period 1/1/03 through your termination date. This return is due on the 15th day of the 4th month after termination. (If you terminate in January, the return is due 5/15, etc.) You can use the 2002 forms for this return, just enter the appropriate dates and check the "final" box.

Whether you have to notify your state depends on what state your club is registered in.

Hello,

Unfortunately my club is terminating. I will file our final
return and forms and check the final box on both the return
and K-1's.

Is there anything else that I need to do beside the above?
Is there anything that I need to do with the state?

Thanks!

Thanks for the information that you provided. Our club is
located in Philadelphia, PA.
