Does any of your clubs out there have a provision in you PA that allows proxy voting? If so does it work well for you?

We've tried proxies over the years, but it's hard to get everyone to comply.
What we ended up doing is this: If a member intends to be absent, and they
want their vote to be counted on a particular issue, they can assign a proxy
to another member whom they trust will vote by their wishes. A member can
only vote one person's proxy per meeting, though. If a member is absent
without a proxy, then as long as we have a quorum (in our case, 2/3 of the
membership, including proxies) their wishes are simply not taken into
consideration.
