Here's one suggestion.

Record the reverse split on the day it took place, keeping the fractional
shares "intact". For example, if you had 19 shares of a company that split
1:10 you would record that you had 1.9 shares after the reverse split.

Record the sale of the fractional share on the date you received the cash
into your account.
