We also assess late fee on payments/due received after the 10th of each month ($5.00). Using Bivio makes this a easy procedure to do. We simply enter the late payment/dues on the date in which it's received (Transaction Date), but use the Valuation Date of the 10th (of the same month) so that the person gets the same valuation as the members who paid on time, but the payment is acknowledged as late.  Then we take the individual member and put in the fee on the same date the payment was received.  This gives the member the chance to get the same valuation as the others and get the fee charged, too.  This is a simple process in Bivio.
