When a member makes a payment, they receive units in exchange for their capital contribution. The number of units depends upon unit value. The valuation date used when entering member payments determines the number of units purchased. Here are a few links to trez_talk columns which discuss the unit value system: http://www.bivio.com/trez_talk/mail-msg?t=4688300003 http://www.bivio.com/trez_talk/mail-msg?t=1839900003 http://www.bivio.com/trez_talk/mail-msg?t=1733700003 Please also visit our help pages on the subject: http://www.bivio.com/hp/unit-value.html http://www.bivio.com/hp/valuation-date.html http://www.bivio.com/hp/valuation-report.html Cheers, Rob |
