Gekko Worldwide Partners needs some help.

Would anyone have an idea on how to enter this transaction
with Intimate Brands and The Limited?

It is an exchange, but is it treated as a merger, spinoff or
something else? I know that the ratio is 1.10 shares of LTD
for every 1 share of IBI.

This is a merger. You would go to Accounting > Investments >
Initimate Brands, Inc (IBI), then click on the merger icon.
Enter the following:

    Acquiring Ticker: LTD
    Transaction Date: 3/21/02

For Shares Received, you need to enter the amount of shares deposited
into your account. This may not have happened already in which case
you should wait for the transaction to appear on your broker
statement. If you have fractional shares, you may have received cash
in lieu for the fraction.
