Ameritrade Dividend Question: Do I enter a Dividend from my Ameritrade Account as a Interest Income or as a Money Market Dividend? We have not bought any stocks yet but our account earned a whopping $0.21 last month. Thanks, Jay LA MIGRA Jay Visconti writes: > Question: Do I enter a Dividend from my Ameritrade Account > as a Interest Income or as a Money Market Dividend? AccountSync enters this amount as interest. Ameritrade reports many transactions as dividends when they are really categorized as something else. One of the advantages of AccountSync is that you don't have to worry about this sort of thing. Cheers, Rob |
