Why does the demo club keep resetting???? My club is trying
to track our virtual portfolio competition using the demo
club, but evidently this is not a viable option. Isn't it
more trouble to purge and refresh this information every xxx
weeks??? What is the benefit in erasing the demo info, and
refreshing it with "dummy" info?

We reset the demo clubs for several reasons. We upload new demo club
data every so often. Deleting the demo clubs ensures all our users
get access to the latest features. For example, we just added
AccountSync data, which allows people to see how AccountSync works.
Purging demo clubs helps us reduce the size of our database, since we
do not know what a demo club is inactive. We do not expect people to
use the demo clubs for actual record-keeping.

Several of our members have used bivio for portfolio competitions.
Feel free to create real clubs on bivio for this purpose. If your
competition runs over the time limit of our free trial, let us know
and we will extend your free trial. By the way, unlike demo clubs,
you can invite the referee to all the contest clubs. We know of at
least one portfolio contest, which was run this way.

Once your contest is over, please let us know, so we can delete your
contest clubs.
