Price difference between Bivio & Broker
I tried sending this message to Customer support but keep
getting an error so perhaps this will work.
My Bivio year end valuation statement does not agree with my
Broker statement. The problem is the closing price of Fifth
third Bank (FITB) on 12/31. Bivio shows a price of $61.33,
Waterhouse shows $61.58. It only affects our portfolio by
$14.58 so I don't know how important it is. However, I would
like to know why there is a difference. Can you enlighten
me?
Thanks.
Jean,

bivio must not be using the same data source as your brokerage. bivio
spends thousands of dollars per month buying stock and mutual fund data
from CSI, the "gold standard." You will find differences with other
sources. To learn more about price databases, please read:

http://www.bivio.com/hp/price-database.html

By the way, did you try sending email to support@bivio.com? We aren't
aware of any problems on our side.

Best,
--Ion

Thank you for the quick response. You were right,
Waterhouse was wrong. I checked another source (Big
Charts historical quotes) and they agreed with you.
Thanks, again. Yeah, Bivio!
