We have several resources you might try. First, we recommend you read some of the articles in Ask Candis:

http://www.bivio.com/ask_candis/mail-msg?t=53600003
http://www.bivio.com/ask_candis/mail-msg?t=103500003
http://www.bivio.com/ask_candis/mail-msg?t=171800003

You'll need to understand some of the accounting issues, so browse around Trez Talk. Here are some pointers:

http://www.bivio.com/trez_talk/mail-msg?t=97900003
http://www.bivio.com/trez_talk/mail-msg?t=101500003
http://www.bivio.com/trez_talk/mail-msg?t=137600003
http://www.bivio.com/trez_talk/mail-msg?t=344500003

You might also want to read one of the books we recommend in our bookstore:

http://www.bivio.com/hm/books.html

Of course, feel free to send in a question to Ask Candis or Trez Talk. They are very willing to address your specific questions.

Good luck starting a club!
Rob
many of the articles refer to

http://www.bivio.com/pub/connect

but all I get is 404 errors when I try to get to that page
is there a different url?

I apologize for the error. Connect is no longer supported. We'll fix
the link to notify people of this change. Thanks for pointing it out.

We now like people to post their requests to join clubs on the Club
Cafe. Most existing clubs didn't participate in bivio Connect, but
many clubs participate in this forum.
