class action suit against e-Trade (aka Morgan Stanley)
My investment club originally had an account with e-Trade.
Everything was fine untill Morgan Stanley purchased e-trade.
The fact that morgan stanley misled us all, the waste of
time spent trying to correct what they deemed inadequate,
their lack of communication, and leading us all on a goose
chase is unfortunate to say the least. Is there any
recourse? How can we go about filing a class action suit
against Morgan Stanley on behalf of investment clubs. The
stress level that they have caused us all is indescribable!

Please advise - there must be someone with advice out there!
Thank you,

What are the issue/s that you have with Morgan Stanley? How have they misled you and what was deemed inadequate? We have been with E*Trade for years and when the merged with Morgan Stanley it was seamless, at least so far.  I would like to avoid any future problems.

Our club never had any significant issues with E*Trade or Morgan Stanley.
As treasurer, I liked them so much I personally purchased their stock and it's done quite nicely.

ETrade has been AWFUL for making account access changes when our club changes officers. ETrade has told us several different processes and yet when we complete each process, it's always another process, another form and something else to do. We can't get a documented process nor can we get a single answer on what to do. It appears their reps have different and incomplete training. We have been a long term ETrade customer and its been miserable since the Morgan Stanley merger. After 6+ months of the run around we gave up and opted to move the account.

We filed a complaint with FINRA. I would not recommend ETrade/Morgan Stanley for any account.
