Reactivating a former member

Reactivating a former member We have a former club member who previously cash out and now several years later wants to rejoin. I do not see how to reactivate the member. Has anyone had this happen and how do we do this on Bivio. This same situation happened in my club (I was the returning member). The only way that the Treasurer could make me a member again was to change my name (He removed my middle initial). You may be able to do something similar. We did the same thing as well for a former member who returned to our club after cashing out. Bivio may have a more eloquent solution, but the quick and easy fix would be to add or remove a middle initial. I suppose if the same member left and came back a third time you might be able to add/remove the period after the middle initial. If they did it a fourth time, maybe they're just too indecisive... ;-) -----Original Message----- From: club_cafe@bivio.com <club_cafe@bivio.com> On Behalf Of William Peterson via bivio.com Sent: Wednesday, March 13, 2024 5:39 AM To: club_cafe@bivio.com Subject: [club_cafe] Re: Reactivating a former member [External Email] This same situation happened in my club (I was the returning member). If he made a complete withdrawal you just add him back in as you would a new member. Sent from my iPhone > On Mar 13, 2024, at 3:17â¯AM, Ivor J. I simply added new beside her name. That way there would be no confusion in which name was used first. I believe that was Bivio's suggestion. I, as the treasurer, had her join in a different calendar year to avoid possible IRS confusion.
We added xxx in front of the old name and then entered her name as she wanted for the K1 so to match her tax return Sent from my iPhone On Mar 13, 2024, at 8:10 AM, sharon kulkis via bivio.com <user*23116800001@bivio.com> wrote:
