I know there were issues with investing in GBTC when it was a unit trust due to the number of basis adjustments required and the fact that Bivio does not support it for tax preparation purposes. Is that still the case now that GBTC has converted to an ETF?
ETHE is still a unit trust, so I assume that would be an issue in Bivio and something to avoid. Is that correct?
Thanks,
Scott

Even though GBTC is trading as an ETF, the underlying trust is still the operating entity. The SEC documents filed by GBTC indicate that they intend to continue to operate as grantor trust.
