Danaher spinoff of Veralto

Danaher spinoff of Veralto Does anyone else here own Danaher (DHR) stock? There was a spinoff of a new company called Veralto (VLTO) on 10/2. It is not showing in my Bivio transactions nor in the Valuation report. Would anyone know why? Hi Phillip, AccountSync recorded the Danaher-Veralto spinoff for most clubs. I see you have made a preliminary entry to record the spinoff. To confirm the spinoff is entered correctly, compare the number of shares and total cost basis column amount shown on the bivio "Investment Lot Cost Basis" report to the same information shown on an "Unrealized gain/loss" report you can get from your broker. You need to do this comparison for each lot of each of the stocks involved in the reorganizations. Similarly, confirm that the cost basis and number of shares of the VLTO stock sold as cash in lieu as shown on a bivio Capital Gains and Losses report agree with what is shown on the "Realized gain/loss" report from your broker. If there are any differences, send the broker's reports to support@bivio.com with the information for each lot you own shown separately, along with a report indicating what specific differences you see. We will review and help you make corrections. Hope that helps. If you have any further questions contact support@bivio.com. Becky Kruse bivio Thank you Becky! Yes, I made the entry because we had a meeting on Wednesday evening and I wanted to show it. I'll try to check it over the weekend. I have a different, separate question. Our club is involved in the TDAmeritrade / Schwab move, although I haven't followed their instructions to get a new username / password, etc. Does Bivio know the new Schwab account information for the sync, or will I need to provide something? If so, what information do you need? Becky Kruse bivio After a club's migration from TD Ameritrade to Charles Schwab is complete, test your new Charles Schwab login credentials by logging into and out of the Schwab website. When bivio's AccountSync stops connecting with TD Ameritrade, follow these directions to link AccountSync with Charles Schwab so AccountSync can continue to import your club's transactions: https://www.bivio.com/site-help/bp/Schwab_AccountSync_setup_Help While you are linking the accounts you can update the Name field on the bivio account to "Broker" or "Charles Schwab." After you link the accounts, AccountSync will run overnight and import your transactions into your bivio records. Check to see if any transactions are missing and then record the entries manually. For many clubs the migration from TD Ameritrade to Charles Schwab has been quite smooth with only a duplicated or missing transaction or mid-month interest to reconcile. If you have questions specifically about your club, send them to support@bivio.com instead of Club Cafe. Becky Kruse bivio |
