trasferring cash from broker qccount to club account

We purchased two stocks recently. I need to transfer cash from the broker account to the checking account. I think. I am not sure if I should just make a cash transfer from broker to checking accounts or is there another way of doing so to show the purchase price and the check are the same

Well, I would think that the broker would just take the funds out of the account you have with them.

A lot of brokers don't let you purchase unless they have the cash in hand to cover the transaction, which makes me think they take the funds straight out of the brokerage cash account that you have. Call them and ask.

Unless the "checking" account is at a different institution from the "broker" account, there is no reason to maintain a checking account. It's just a cash account at the broker.

I'm confused. If you purchased a stock in your broker account why are you transferring money from your broker to your checking account? Shouldn't it be the opposite?
