Check Deposit

Check Deposit Hello , I received a refund check from Better Investing and using Suspense was able to get it into our bank account for our club. This resulted in a negative value in the Suspense account. When I tried to remove this value , it removes the amount that went into bank account as well. What do I do now? Richard Richard: I assume you received a refund because you overpaid for a transaction that you originally posted in bivio as negative to cash and positive to an expense. When you received the refund, you could have posted it as positive to cash and a negative to the same expense account that you originally posted the transaction to. Now that you have used the suspense account, post a positive to the suspense account and a negative to the expense account that was used originally. The effect of the posting should result in a reduction in the expense account and an increase in cash. Jack You have sent this to the WRONG email address. I used the "reply" on club cafe, which should deliver the message to everyone who is a subscriber, including the original poster. I am not sure whether there is something wrong with the system or you are confused in thinking that the answering message would only go to the original poster, and you would not receive a copy. Perhaps Richard and Karen can confirm they received the answering message. I will also alert support@bivio.com to check the system. Jack This was handled by an off list support email. Please discontinue this part thread. Thanks, Rob Got the message. Richard On Thu, May 5, 2022 at 11:14 AM Robert Nagler <nagler@bivio.biz> wrote:
