But just because a club files for an extension doesn't mean they won't get them to you in time for you to file by April 15.

It's actually quite simple:
Fill in name, address, EIN.
Part 1, put 09 on the box for filing Form 1065.
Line 5a fill in tax year.
And that's it!

If you go to help under Bivio and look at the Taxes entry the first line is "Filing for an Extension" as shown below. When you click on this, at bivio and not on this e-mail, it will explain what needs to be done and it will show a sample form filled out. Ken did a nice job of summarizing it.
