wash sales

Our club auditors just discovered that we incurred wash sales earlier this year. 1) is there a way for us to enter this into Bivio at the time it occurred? 2) does Bivio support still have to make the corrections for us?

Wash sales should be added as soon after they occur as possible so that subsequent transactions can be entered correctly.

Wash sale entries can be simple or they can be extremely complex to enter correctly. To give you further guidance on your specific issue, you'll need to email your question to support@bivio.com

Also send your brokers reports documenting the wash sale that you have downloaded from their website.

Our club had this issue in 2021 as well when another partner took over trading duties. We had a number of them. I highly recommend reaching out to bivio support.

I worked directly with Laurie. I have already checked our bivio records with our TD Ameritrade Form 1099 for 2021 & everything matches to the penny.

Great work from bivio at a reasonable cost.
