Fedelity Bond Coverage Our model club recently received an email from Clifford Trent, Director of Operations with BetterInvesting. The subject was Fidelity Bond Coverage. Fidelity Bond Insurance covers theft of club funds by a BetterInvesting dues-paying club member in the BetterInvesting dues-paying club. Both the club and the club members must be dues-payment members of BetterInvesting at the time of the theft. Before I add this topic to our club's Administration Meeting agenda, I would like to inquire if other clubs have purchased this coverage. Thank you for you input.

Ours is a model club so many members are long time club members. One said that none of the clubs he was a part of ever bought the coverage. It was also mentioned that an annual audit, which we do regularly, is a way to keep tabs on what's happening. Members tend to be aware of what is happening with their collective investments.
