Wabtec / GE stock split

How do we account for the Wabtec/GE deal, where GE merged
its transportation business with Wabtec. Our club received
shares of WAB, and I want to record the transaction
properly.

Did you receive an answer to this? We also have oddities
here, where we had so few shares of GE that we actually
received cash instead of shares of WAB, and now bivio and
our online brokerage (eTrade) are out of sync.
