Hello, My investment group is Affluent Alliance LLC. We were wondering which brokerage company has the best service. We recently signed up for Bivio and were trying to decide. Any help would be most appreciated! Thank you! Most of the companies do not like investment clubs and the paperwork to set up an account or change officers is very difficult. Check out the latter. Make sure you understand it. But our experience has been fine, as far as I know. Linda Hello, Dear Allen: Our investment club is the 711 Investment club and has been in existence and met every month since circa the mid-fifties. Circa 2008 we started our relationship with Bivio and that literally guaranteed our Club's future life and success and greatly improved our record keeping and tax returns, etc. Since Bivio only has interface with a few Brokerage Houses, we were very happy to work with Fidelity and save a HUGE amount on brokerage fees. Fidelity only charges $4.95 per trade - a real bargain, and we had been paying as much as $200 or more per trade for many years before I became Treasurer!! I am sure others will have their recommendations, but Fidelity is an extraordinarily great house to deal with and they are 7x24 with incredible tech support. Their website is also excellent. I strongly recommend that your club check with Bivio and Fidelity. Best choice may be where a member has a great adviser who can shepherd the application through quickly and easily. Linda Hello, My club has been with FolioFn for a number of years. If you're a BetterInvesting club then there is no annual fee or trade fees. One downside is that checks can only be written by the person who opens the account. But the transactions do transfer from TD Ameritrade to Bivio easily. Only a little coding is needed.
