advice needed Our club uses Fidelity, and aside from issues with changing officers (which is a pain), we are happy with them. We often call and ask for free trades and they usually accommodate us. There are a couple of people in the club who want to switch to Scottrade because they are offering a bonus to switch brokers. I believe Scottrade is accessible by Bivio (??), but they are being taken over by TD Ameritrade. I don’t want to switch because of the hassle. I am looking for any advice Bivio users can give me to convince the others that it is not worth the aggravation to change brokerages. Any comments will be appreciated. Linda Pointe Players Linda, I would caution you not to make the switch to a company that is being taken over until it is a done deal. My club ran into real headaches when TD Waterhouse became TD Ameritrade. Our deposit was "misplaced" for a few weeks, stock transfers to departing members took over 2 months. We heard lots of excuses, but it was a trying time. Wait! Susan Sent from my iPad

I strongly recommend you stick with Fidelity. We have used them with no problem, except the changing of Treasurers which doesn't happen frequently. They have a great site for researching stocks and are investment club friendly.
