This is a link to the IRS site for the extension form 7004. You can fill out the form on the site, print it and mail it. The code is 09 for Form 1065.
I have also attached instructions and a PDF of the form if you want to print it and fill it out by hand and mail it.
I am not sure if there is a way to file it online.
You can also go to your state's website and either print an extension form or file the extension online. Some states do not require the extension if you don't owe money with the return, or if you filed a federal extension.

Does anyone know how to go about filing a partnership extension? I'd like to be prepared in case we either don't get a 1099 timely, or don't have enough time to reconcile. I want to avoid a last minute fire drill.
