emailing pdf. files of SSG to club members who do not have program
Can anyone tell me how to email copies of a completed SSG6
to members who do not have the SSG6 program? I could
convert them to a pdf. file when I had
windows XP, but that no longer works with Windows 7 which I
now have. Please help!

There are a number of options available to create a file
that you can share.

When you look at the list of printers available on your
Windows 7 PC, one of the choices is "Microsoft XPS Printer.
it will create a pdf-like file that can be opened with other
PCs running Win7 or later.

If you want to create a true PDF file, there are a number of
free programs that you can install on your machine that will
do that. A couple that I have used include: Cute PDF and PDF
995. Put "Cute PDF" in your search engine to find the
website to download from. The basic program just makes pdf
files. Other programs may have more features, but either
require payment or have ads appear as you use them.

After installation, the programs will appear in your list of
printers when you create a print job in Toolkit 6.

Dixie,
I use a program called PrimoPDF.  It works well in Windows 7.  Once installed, it will appear as a printer in the "Printer select" window.  When you have an SSG displayed on your screen, click the printer icon in the upper left of the SSG.  That will open a window in which you'll find a "Printer Setup" button.  Open that and select PrimoPDF option to select it instead of your actual printer.  Also on this screen, the SSG front and back will already be checked (selected), but you can change that if you want to print other items.  Then click OK.  A dialog window will open and you click on the "Create PDF button.

As an example, I'm attaching an SSG that I just created.

This is the greatest tool since sliced bread......and it's a free download.  I use it all the time for creating .pdf files..... regardless of what program I'm in.

Thank you John Ranby and Dick Lewis. I got PrimoPdf working fine.  I had trouble getting CutePDF installed so I switched over to PrimoPDF and got it to work.  Thanks to you both.
