Where can I get an explanation on how club units are calculated? I have two people who joined at the same time but have different returns. One contributes the same amount each month while the other contributes vary each month. The one who contributes the same amount each month is questioning why she has a different return than the other since they joined at the same time.

The value of a unit on a particular day is calculated by
dividing the total value of the club's holdings and cash by
the number of units owned by all the partners.

The reason the two partners who joined at the same time have
different returns is because they bought a different number
of units on the same day by one paying a constant amount and
the other varying the amount of money spent to buy units on
the same day.
