Sending Emails to Your Investment Club

Hi Everyone,

As we've mentioned before, your ClubID is part of a club email address that you can use to easily have discussions with everyone in your group.

Some of you may not make use of it because you think you have to login to bivio to use it. This is not the case. You can send an email to your club email address from your regular email program. Just create an email as you usually do but address it to the club email address. When you send it, it will go to each member with an email shown on your club roster.

The good thing about sending emails this way is that when someone replies, their response also goes to everyone in the club. In contrast, if you send an email to a list of addresses and someone forgets to "Reply all" when they respond, everyone will not get their response and people will get left out of the discussion.

I'd recommend you try using your club email for your investment club communications if you haven't already.

Laurie:

I presume using this method, the club email will send messages to current partners only. If not, do we have to have the email field of former partners in the roster blank in order to avoid them receiving messages?

Hi Jack,

If they are shown as "Withdrawn" on your club roster, they will not receive any current emails.
