Our club only shows the "money market account" and not the
brokerage one. Where do I see the
brokerage account with each investment's gain/loss to date?

Something for future consideration--- it would be nice if there was a separate valuation report that showed the changes in share amounts, price per share, gain/loss, cash, and unit value since the previous month (i.e. last day of each month). That is what our club is interested in seeing at our monthly meetings, and as treasurer I have to create a special spreadsheet for this layout. I also add changes in benchmarks for the month which include S&P 500, DJIA, and Nasdaq. It takes me a couple of hours to create and check each month.

We do the same thing on an Excel spreadsheet so this would be nice to have.

I do an Excel spreadsheet each month with the change in price and value of each stock and the whole portfolio compared to the change in the S&P500 for the same period, which is from one meeting date to the next, for two investment clubs. It would be wonderful if bivio could do that!

Thank you for your input everyone. If you know anything about doing web queries with excel, you can probably do what you are doing automatically. If you look at the URL when any of your reports are showing, you will see that the date parameters are passed there. That would allow you to automate getting the data from two different dates.
It is hard to make a report that will please everyone, that is why we offer the option to send any of our reports to a spreadsheet.
If you'd like to send a sample copy of the reports you generate here or to support@bivio.com, I'd be glad to take a look at them and see if I can make any suggestions for ways you could automate them.

As treasurer, I provided the following monthly report to our members which we all felt was useful and would be wonderful to be able to automate it:
Symbol, # Shares Owned, Most Recent Purchase Date, Avg. Cost/Share, Price/Share, Market Value, $ Gain, % Gain, 52-Week Range, PEG Ratio.

Are all of you also aware that you can pull up a Yahoo portfolio of your club holdings directly using the Yahoo button you'll find on the Accounting>Investments page?
You can customize those with many of the items you are looking for. If you open up a portfolio, you'll see a link labeled "Customize current view" that will let you add many of the parameters you have listed that you'd like to see.

Awesome! I don't know how to do web queries in Excel so I always manually enter everything. Just now, within a couple of minutes I opened up a new workbook and created 3 worksheets: Beg, End and Difference. Downloaded the 2 specific valuations and copied & paste them onto the two worksheets. Then on the difference worksheet in the first cell of the data I subtracted Beg from End, extended it to the whole worksheet and every cell had the difference. It took me longer to wright this email than to do the worksheet. Now I just have to enter the benchmark and make it look nice. This will save me lots of time.
Thank you Laurie,
John

This is an awesome feature. Can each member customize his/her own Yahoo or does the bivio contact person make changes for the club that determine what everyone sees? (I'm "rolling this out" to my club's members next month and would like to be able to give them as many details as possible.)

Hi Sue,
Each member can pull up a Yahoo portfolio themselves. They can customize their own display in whatever way they'd like if they do it with their own Yahoo account.
Or, you can create a club yahoo account and share the login information so everyone could see a club version of whatever you'd like to see. They'd just need to be logged into that version when they selected the Yahoo button in bivio.
