KMI (Kinder Morgan Incorporated), has announced they will be purchasing all the shares of their 3 partnerships, KMP, KMR and EPB.

If you own KMP, KMR or EPB, you still have tax issues to address which cannot be addressed by bivio so you will need to plan to get outside tax help for doing your 2014 taxes. They may be especially complicated depending on the tax implications of the buyout.

However, once you receive (or if you already own) KMI shares, you will not have any problems going forward accounting for your dividends in bivio.
