Correct Share Counts

Just a reminder that it is extremely important to check each month and make sure that the number of shares shown in bivio for each of your stocks agrees with what is shown on your brokerage statements. If they don't, none of your club accounting is correct.

There have been quite a few reorganizations that have happened already this year and at least one broker, Scottrade, has had real problems reporting them in the data file read by AccountSync. When that happens, you cannot count on AccountSync to have made the entries you need.

Here are the steps to follow to fix your records if your share counts disagree:
