Dear Linda,
I'm sorry you feel that way. We've been doing this for a lot of years and that is not what we've heard from our other users.
But, we also recognize that nothing is perfect. As I said earlier, we are always open to hearing specific suggestions about ways specific parts of the site can be improved. We welcome that input.
It's hard to know what to address from general comments.

The programmers need to go back to the drawing board because the whole website is difficult to navigate and definitely not logical nor intuitive.

I usually just "lurk" on the club cafe and pick up great tips for our club. But having read such a negative comment as this, I must respond. I love bivio and find the site easy to navigate. It may not be perfect, but no site is. Please give constructive criticism.

Three cheers to the bivio team for quickly responding to investment club issues. I noticed that even on Sunday the staff was on call. We have been using bivio for many years and are pleased with the program and the service. As with any program, it does take effort to become acquainted with it, but once you begin to "think like the computer" it all becomes very clear. The Help button covers most any situation you can think of. All in all, kudos to the bivio program and staff. BTW, we have left Better Investing and subscribed to ValueLine. Think we get more bang for our bucks. Talk about illogical and intuitive - to me that is the Stock Selection Guide from BI.
Just adding my 2 cents -

My only issue with the interface is the inability to move more than one file at a time to a different folder in the files area. We save all of our quarterly SSGs to see how we've changed our assumptions over the holding period and when we sell a stock, we move these SSGs into a different folder. This must be performed one at a time using a clunky interface. We wish the directory was either FTP accessible or if there was a way to perform a multiple selection so cleanup could occur much more easily. Currently, it's very slow and time-consuming. Otherwise, the site is pretty well organized in my opinion.

I would like the ability to delete multiple messages at once from communications. Or at least a complete thread. It's a pain to have to select a message, select delete, confirm the delete, repeat.

Thank you for the input Bob. Others are interested in this also. I will make sure to pass this along to the programmers.
In the meantime, are you aware that you don't have to delete anything? Unless you are doing something out of the ordinary, you do not have to worry about running out of mail storage space.

I belong to two clubs that use Bivio. After I login, I'm taken to a main screen that has tabs across the top for Accounting, Administration, Communications. If I then switch to the second club using the drop-down in upper right-hand corner, I'm taken to that club's website. Could I please be taken to the same Bivio page in both instances? Currently, any time I switch between clubs I'm taken to that club's web page, which is almost never where I want to be taken.

Thanks for the information. I'm not worried about the space, just trying to keep content to important things and eliminate "me too" emails.

I also lurk and read searching for constructive ideas for my clubs. I also love bivio, I have always found the information provided intuitive and informative. In the few instances that I have needed help because I messed something up, the staff has always been responsive on a timely basis. As the treasurer of three clubs over the past 25 years, I have converted from paper based, to a competitor's less intuitive disk-based product, to a competitor's cloud-based product and finally found Nirvana with bivio.

SSG = the Stock Selection Guide which many (or most) club's use to evaluate investment options.
Folders = Click on "Communications" and the top right of the main screen and then select "Files". This is a place to store copies of documents generated by members and to be held for historical or interest reasons. You can
group similar files into folders that you create. We store all meeting minutes, a copy of our brokerage statements, our partnership agreement, and similar items. We don't store SSGs but that sounds like a good idea too.
Taking advantage of online storage has made it unnecessary to save reams of paper in filing cabinets and all items are available to all partners whenever Bivio is available.
