The Mystery of the the Missing Cents
Those of you who have TDAmeritrade as your AccountSync broker have noticed in May and June that there was no entry made for your money market interest.

Kudos to those who have noticed it. It's only usually a few cents, but it means you are regularly checking your cash balances.

Thanks to fellow bivionian, Ed Berners, who was able to pursue the matter with TDAmeritrade, the mystery has been solved. Here is what he was told:

> Thank you for contacting TD Ameritrade. Unfortunately, we are experiencing an issue with decimals on the Transactions Page and in downloads to third-party services, such as Bivio. It will not show the decimal, so if it is less than $1 it shows as 0. The issue is being resolved as quickly as possible by our developers. We are mindful of the quality of our feeds because we have many traders such as yourself that need these feeds to work properly for various reasons.
> While we constantly strive to maintain superior service levels to our products, technology does not always allow us to be 100% reliable with all the factors that are involved. We strive to earn the trust of our traders when providing these quotes, and continue to monitor our systems for errors or improvements.

> Thank you for choosing TD Ameritrade!

> Sincerely,

> Joseph Antonelli
> Technology Support, TD Ameritrade
> Division of TD Ameritrade, Inc.

Make sure you keep doing your regular monthly check for cash balance agreement between bivio and your broker. If you need to enter any of these manually, you can easily do it using the "Interest" or button you will find on the Accounting>Accounts page.

The missing cents now make sense! Thank you Ed!

Thanks Laurie,

I have forwarded this to the Seattle TDAmeritrade office.
