Interest received from Broker on a money market acct. Interest received from a Broker should it stay in Interest or should it be posted in Dividend, I know a read a article on it out here on Bivio but I can't find it again. Thanks again for all you help. Georgine Gubbins Dear Georgine, It depends on what category it is reported to you on your 1099. In either case, for money market dividends or interest, use the income button on the Accounting>Accounts page to record them. Make sure not to use the Income button on the Accounting>Investments page. Laurie Frederiksen

If it is listed as interest on your 1099, you'll want to enter it as interest in bivio. Laurie Frederiksen
