Yup. Tax exempt.

Apparently major league baseball took the high ground in 2007 and relinquished their tax exempt status.

Senator Tom Coburn has released his annual report highlighting some of the most wasteful spending. Tax breaks for sports organizations that make billions is on the top of the list.
