Selling Drip Stocks
Is there a form created for selling drip stocks?
Hi Linda,

Can you let us know what kind of form you might be looking for?

To enter the sale of a DRIP holding in bivio, you can use the same sell form that you use for all stocks. You can get to it by selecting the "Sold" button on the Accounting>Investments page.

Let us know if that's not what you need.

I am assuming you want to sell your drip stocks and or stop
the reinvestment of drips as it is very difficult with the
new IRS rules. If you wat to sell, contact the the company
the brookerage or copany that holds the drips for
instruction. make sure you follow their instructions
carefully. We transferred all our drip accounts to our
brookage account and we needed the original club partnership
agreeent, and a signed stateent by all members . this was
cobersome. In addition you had to state that you did not
want any ore drips. The process took 3-4 months.
The form I was referring to is more of a template used for
contacting the handlers of the drips. We have HOG which is
with Computershare and YUM with American Stock. We have sold
drips in the past and it has always been a pain and was
hoping maybe someone had created a form that works. I know
that both need a medallion signature guarantee and was
wondering if anyone had success with using the tearoff form
on the quarterly investment statements. Any help is
appreciated.
Thanks
Linda
