Program requests price updates for INTC
Occasionally - perhaps every 4 - 6 weeks - I am asked to
provide a price for Intel for a specific date. We have an
INTC position and as far as I can tell the symbol is
correctly listed with the holding.

I always get this INTC request when the program asks me to
provide a date-specific price for our money market shares.
These latter, MMDA10, are not updated by the program because
they are a TDAmeritrade money market position. Trades in
this position are ignored by bivio. For example, if we
receive a dividend for XYZ of $75, bivio does not capture
the corresponding TDAmeritrade MMDA10 purchase of 75 shares
@ 1.00.

I wonder if sometime back before my day as treasurer if we
might have bought some INTC shares and failed to assign a
symbol?

Is there any way I can avoid having to provide INTC pricing?

I don't suppose that the program can be "forced" to record
MMDA10 transactions?

Thanks.
Dear William,

If you have an unlisted investment, you will be asked to enter a price for it every time you make an entry that requires a current club valuation. For example, when you enter member payments.

I have updated the ticker reference for INTC so its price will be automatically updated for you in the future.

We'd highly recommend that you track your money market account as cash. Since its value stays constant at $1.00, there is no reason to enter buy and sell transactions to move money into and out of it. Tracking it as the cash balance in your brokerage account saves you some work and simplifies your investment club records.
