Fictitious Name Registration

Fictitious Name Registration I am curious about the avenues clubs have pursued for registration of fictitious name of their partnership. This is a requirement in Pennsylvania (PA Dept of State). Two notifications are required, both rather expensive when published in local newspapers "legal notice" section. Has any club pursued smaller papers in local areas such as "bulletion board," "penny savers," etc.? I was unsure if this would suffice/meet the PA legal standard. I understand most folk are not attorney's but any input regarding your own clubs publications would be appreciated. Regards, Rick Hi Rick, I wouldn't dream of publishing a public notice in our local Tribune! Way too expensive. So yes, the Penny Shoppers are just fine, as long as they are an "accredited" paper for public notices. You don't need to know which ones, just call and they will tell you if they are. The cost is about half.
Good luck to you, Lynn Ostrem Crow River Investment Club
