We're in the process of reviewing our K-1's before we submit
them and have one question on Foreign Transactions (Box 16).
For most of us there are 3 codes in this box 1) Code A
followed by the name of the country 2) Code D -passive
category- followed by the number "4" and 3) Code L followed
by the amount of foreign tax paid.

Our question - what does the number 4 after Code D signify?
