The purpose of the model club is to provide an educational opportunity for interested parties to learn how to form and operate an investment club in accordance with the long-term investment methods and principles of BetterInvesting, a non-profit organization dedicated to investment education . The four basic principles are 1) Invest Regularly, 2) Reinvest all earnings, dividends and profits, 3) Buy growth stocks which have the potential to double the value of your portfolio every five years, and 4) Diversify your investments. This model investment club is sponsored by the St. Louis Chapter of Better-Investing.
